The project entitled ''Universal communication and control system for industrial plants'' (KK.01.1.1.07.0034) is a scientific and research project led by FER, and the project partner is the company B rodotehna doo. The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
The goal of the project is to develop an application that integrates communication and control modules to increase the efficiency of various types of industrial production facilities with an emphasis on energy facilities. The application's communication module stores data about the facility in a central database . The data is used to optimize the operation of individual processes using optimization algorithms integrated in the application. The advantage compared to existing solutions is the universality of the application, as it will enable communication with all industrial protocols. The application includes efficient collection of facility data, conducting complex data analyses, the ability to access collected data from other systems, and making management decisions.
